At the beginning of this year, fans of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got a reason to slip into a celebratory mood as the rumors surrounding the probable marriage of the hat-trick hit pair began making more noise than ever.

There was an apparent apartment purchase, an exchange of generous pleasantries and even a series of reported family get-togethers, which only added more fuel to the fire! And now, we hear that the Padmaavat actress has already zeroed down on a designer, which did not exactly come as a shocker to us.

As you guessed it, it turned out to be Sabyasachi Mukherjee! And, how do you wonder we anticipated this? Well, when asked about her choice of designer for her wedding gown on the Neha Dhupia-hosted Vogue BFF’s, she chose Sabyasachi over Manish Malhotra.

A source close to the affair was also quoted saying that, “Sabyasachi will be designing one of the outfits for Deepika’s wedding. One of the main attractions in the trousseau is going to be her wedding day lehenga.”

Keeping in line with the trend of getting married in a super private manner, a source was previously quoted saying that, “It will be an extremely private, traditional Hindu ceremony with the couple tying the knot in the presence of only close friends and family. The couple is still deciding if they want a reception to follow.”
