Will Ananya Pandey debut with SOTY2?

Just like almost any other movie nowadays, Student Of The Year 2 has had its fair share of rumors and speculations as far as female leads are concerned and the much-awaited debut of a handful of star kids go (More specifically, Jhanvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan). Apart from that, when it comes to the film in question, there was news that perhaps Disha Patani will be seen opposite rumored beau Tiger Shroff in the film, but there has been no confirmation on the same.

In the midst of all this, a yet another name has cropped up as the potential candidate for the female lead in this Karan Johar production, and this time it is Chunky Pandey’s daughter Ananya’s name which is making rounds.

In the past, it was being said that Ananya might be launched by Salman Khan opposite his nephew Aayush Sharma, but there has been no confirmation on the same

In an interview with a leading newspaper, Chunky said  “Yes, Ananya wants to be an actress and she had informed me about her decision some time ago. Be it Ahaan or Ananya, I want the kids to create their own identity and be a brand in their own right.”

On the other hand, Both Sara and Jhanvi have taken up different projects. While Sara will be reportedly making her debut opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in Kedarnath (the director needs to work on the name for sure), Jhanvi will be seen opposite Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan Khattar in the Hindi remake of Sairat.

Only time will tell as to who will be the final cast of SOTY 2.
