Why Is Priyanka Chopra visiting India only for 16 hours?

The last time we saw Priyanka Chopra on the big screen in a Hindi film was back in 2016, in Prakash Jha’s cop drama, Jai Gangaajal. Ever since then, she’s been in New York and continuously shooting for her TV Series, Quantico, which has already successfully completed three seasons.

Now, reports have confirmed the Desi Girl will be coming back to India for a very special purpose. Priyanka Chopra is the global ambassador for UNICEF, and they are organizing an event in Delhi, so she decided to take out time from her hectic schedule and attend it. The actress will deliver a speech on the importance of child education in rural India. However, her visit to India is touted to be only 16 hours long, as she has to head back to Dublin to shoot an action scene.

Priyanka Chopra is possibly at her career’s finest phase right now, she will be seen in two Hollywood films, A Kid Like Jake, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on the 23rd of January this year and Isn’t It Romantic?, which is releasing on the 14th of February, 2019 and as informed earlier, she could be the leading lady in Salman Khan’s Bharat as well, and we are not going to call that as a come-back. Even though her much-talked-about Baywatch turned out to be a critical and commercial disappointment, it nowhere dented her blazing popularity and sky-rocketing success.
