Whoa! Banarasi paan to be named after Shah Rukh Khan

Seven years ago Shah Rukh Khan danced his heart out to the song ‘Khaike Paan Banaraswala‘ from Don 2, and now the actor has a Banarasi paan named after him. Yes, you read that right – a Benarasi paan! Anushka Sharma and Shah Rukh Khan have been promoting their film Jab Harry Met Sejal in full swing.

Recently on one such promotion spree, Shah Rukh, Anushka Sharma, Imtiaz Ali were in Banaras and SRK decided to stop at the local paan shop and taste the Banarasi Meetha Paan. As a humble gesture (which Shah Rukh Khan usually has) he thanked the vendor and it turned out to be a big fan moment for Satish Kumar the owner of Tamboolam Paan Shop.

As soon as King Khan left the shop a whole lot of people gathered and asked Satish for the same kind of paan which SRK ate.

After getting such immense popularity Satish Kumar has now given a new name to the meetha paan as Shah Rukh Khan and is selling it for Rs 35.

Well, we must say, SRK‘s visit surely turned out a big thing for Tamboolam Paan Shop. We just hope Jab Harry Met Sejal turns out to be a huge hit for SRK.
