When Varun Dhawan BUSTED a racket!

It is a very old saying that the two most prominent religions in India are Cricket and Bollywood, and in a place where you have a film industry given that kind of importance in a particular culture, there will always be people who will misuse its position, and Judwaa 2 star Varun Dhawan learnt that and how!

It so happened that a group of boys had been running around town clicking selfies with celebrities as and when they get spot them, and while celebs, being as polite as usual, do oblige and get clicked.

Seems pretty normal, right? Well, you’re in for a surprise now.

Turns out, these pictures get uploaded by the boys on social media and tag along the fan clubs of celebrities. Then, depending on the popularity, the guys charge a humongous amount.

And, a particular case in point is a certain Viral Thakkar, who was spotted by Varun on multiple celeb-related events, screenings and what not. Although the man did not pay much heed initially, he eventually got intrigued and began inquiring about the man, and thus busted a mega racket.

A source said, “These boys demanded anything between Rs 4,000- 20,000 depending on the popularity of the star. Some fans even paid up the amount before realising that they have been duped.”

There are some people who pretend to be fans and on that pretext take money and get people to get pictures I have seen these boys and will not give any pictures to such people and even people who come with them.
