When Upasna Singh smartly dodged MOLESTATION!

How many of you remember Pinky Bua from Comedy Nights With Kapil? Yes, we are talking about none other than Upasna Singh, who is as prolific as it gets with regards to her work in films and television and probably has quite a few projects in the pipeline. Naturally, having to work around the clock, it is entirely possible that every once in a while, you are bound to take a cab home at odd hours, where anything untoward can happen, and, sadly, more in the case of women.

The latest example of anything unprecedented that could have happened is this particular attempt of a taxi driver who attempted to molest the actress as she was on her way back home from a shoot, but, thankfully, Singh was quick to avoid the horrific incident.

It so happened that for her way back home from Zirakpur, Chandigarh, she took a cab which was being driven by the accused who was later identified as Vivek. Soon, Upasna noticed that Vivek was probably going off-route towards a remote place, which turned out to be a serious red flag for the actress, who was quick to call up the police control room. The police promptly identified the location as Ring Road, Zirakpur, where a police van reached without any delay.

After the vehicle was identified, the cops arrested the accused and escorted the actress in a different van.

On Sunday night, cops interrogated the driver. In the beginning, he denied the allegations but on Monday morning, he accepted his crime and apologised to Upasana in writing.

Well, we are certainly thankful for Singh to immediately take action when she smelt something fishy. Also, with this, we urge all our female readers to be alert all the time.
