When Sonam Kapoor Ahuja bravely spoke about her period!

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja is always known for her candid and honest nature. This is one of the reasons why she’s admired by a lot of people, albeit receiving strong criticism by a few for her outspoken nature. But she has never really bothered to peep into the negative side. Well, talking about her honesty, she bravely spoke about her first period during the promotions of her film, Pad Man.

“I was 15 when I got my period, all my friends had got way before me, so I was very upset with that when I actually got my first period I was very relieved because I kept telling my mom that there is something wrong with me because I am not getting my period.”  

Now, that’s quite a confession! On the work-front, Sonam is currently riding high on the success of Veere Di Wedding and now will be seen in Sanju, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga and the adaptation of the novel, The Zoya Factor.
