When Hrithik Roshan’s career almost ENDED with his debut!

Hrithik Roshan today is the go-to guy today if you want a talented, Greek God-like superstar so that a filmmaker can pull off an out-of-the-world story. With an interesting body of work that Roshan Jr. has been a part of over the past 17 years, he clearly has proved that he can nail any part, from a superhero to a man with a full-body paralysis.

But, many would not know that if one of Hrithik’s (or Duggu, as he is fondly called) scenes would have gone wrong, we probably wouldn’t have had a Greek God of Bollywood to talk about today.

As it turns out, it was during the filming of Hrithik’s climax scene as Rohit Mehra in the first half in Kaho Naa …. Pyaar Hai, where he dies due to drowning after falling off a bike, only to return as Raj Chopra for the second half. As per an old interview that we laid our eyes on recently, he was ACTUALLY DROWNING during the scene and only if it wasn’t for the alert crew members, fate could have been very different for the Roshan family.

Hrithik’s extra thumb has come to be known as a sign of luck and prosperity, and now we are all the more believing in the power of it.

On the work front, Roshan will turn himself into a mathematician for a biopic based on the legendary social entrepreneur Anand Kumar. The film will be titled Super 30 and will be directed by Vikas Bahl.
