WHAT! Sonakshi Sinha accused of being unprofessional?

Rumors were doing the rounds that the Dabangg actress Sonakshi Sinha failed to reach an event where she was invited as the chief guest. As per the reports of a leading daily, the organizers were in displeasure as the actress did not turn up even when they booked a flight ticket and made an advance payment to the actress.

Though the actress is yet to react on this matter, one of her spokespersons cleared the air and was quoted saying to a leading daily, “Sonakshi is a thorough professional and has no reason to walk away from any commitment she makes. Sonakshi was approached by the event organizers in Delhi to be their chief guest. However, despite repeated reminders, the organizers failed to have the dues cleared till the last day. This is payable to Sonakshi for her professional commitment and along with the dues, they didn’t even send the return tickets to the team, putting everyone in a tough spot since she had a shoot the next morning.”

The statement further stated that Sonakshi had to come back home from the airport because the organizers weren’t responding and updating her team. She wasn’t happy about the lack of commitment from the organisers and her team decided not to attend the event.

On the work front, Sonakshi will be next seen in Karan Johar‘s multi-starrer ‘Kalank’ along with Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur in pivotal roles.
