Wanted & Dabangg’s lyricist Jalees Sherwani no more

Jalees Sherwani, who penned the lyrics of films like Wanted and Dabangg, passed away yesterday. It was reported that he was facing some health issues for the last two weeks but a new report has surfaced that suggests he passed away due to a massive heart attack.

This shocking news was announced at the ongoing 5th Indian Screenwriters Conference (ISC). A tribute will be paid to him today as he was associated with some of the organizers of the ISC.

Not only Wanted and Dabangg, he also penned the lyrics of quite a few other Salman Khan films like Tere Naam, Garv: Pride and Honor and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. May his soul Rest In Peace.
