Virat Kohli gets candid on Anushka Sharma and parenthood

Virat Kohli, was one of the most eligible bachelors in the country and is now happily married to Anushka Sharma. And given the curiosity of the Indian media, both the husband and the wife were constantly asked about each other at public events and press conferences. And surprisingly, they never shied away from talking about each other.

Now, recently in an interview, the captain of the Indian Cricket team got candid and eloquently spoke about Anushka and parenthood, here’s what he had to say, “I have a life. I have a family. I will have kids. They deserve all my time. That is something that is very, very clear and close to my heart. I want no part of my career being flashed into my house. I want no part of my trophies, my achievements, nothing in my house when our kids are growing up.” Additionally, he also opened up about his wife and said, “I have realised a lot of things in the past few years since I’ve been with my wife. Because she is a very spiritual person and I have sort of drifted on that path as well. Now things are unlocking in a way that is very difficult for me to explain to people.” 

Well, we all know how protective Kohli has been of Anushka, particulary during the World Cup 2015, when she was mercilessly trolled on social media for his dismal performance. Way to go captain!
