Varun Dhawan’s WHOPPING fee for the mega dance film REVEALED!

Varun Dhawan is a happy man these days, his latest film, October, has won him rave reviews and praises like never before. Even though he continued to deliver one blockbuster after the other, he was frequently criticized for trying to ape Salman Khan and Govinda in his performances. With October, he has finally entered into the kind of space very few actors have- A star who’s also a fine actor.

And when you’re a star, you’re surely likely to be treated like one. If reports are to be believed, Varun Dhawan’s fee for Remo D’ Souza’s mega-ambitious dance film is a jaw-dropping 32 crores. If these reports are true, the young lad has unquestionably entered into the category of A-List stars. Additionally, his co-star, Katrina Kaif, will be paid 7 crores and the director, Remo, is charging 12 crores for the film.

As far as the news and rumors of the film being made in 4D are concerned, Remo said recently, “We are exploring the possibility of 4D and IMAX. I am still learning the technology and I hope to get it right so that I can use it in the appropriate way.”

Although it’s good to see Varun Dhawan seeing such soaring success, what’s also slightly disappointing is to see the pay disparity between the male and female actors. Despite working in the industry for the last 15 years and some massive hits to her credit, Katrina’s alleged remuneration is dismal, to say the least. Hope filmmakers realize an actress’ contribution to a film is no less than that of an actor.
