Varun Dhawan: If you’re born in the industry you get easier access

We will never forget that one special episode of Koffee With Karan where Kangana aka the fearless Julia from Rangoon spoke at length regarding Nepotism which has now become a trend in the Bollywood industry. Without any hesitation, Kangana even called the well-known filmmaker Karan Johar the ‘flag-bearer of nepotism’ and labelled him as the ‘movie-mafia’

This issue was further escalated and became a huge controversy. Various actors from B-Town began to share their opinions on the same. While some denied being blessed by the nepotism charm in b-town, other actors confessed that they have faced the nasty brunt of the world of nepotism at least once in their life.

In a recent interview with a tabloid, star kid Varun Dhawan was asked to comment on this hot topic, for which the actor asserted, “I definitely think if you’re born into the industry you get easier access but that’s about it. I have never denied that, but after that, only talent and hard work sustains you. Nobody is ready to burn money just because you have a filmi lineage. Superstars in every era have come from outside the industry and that will continue to happen because cinema is nobody’s birthright.”
