Varun Dhawan reuniting with dad David Dhawan is the No.1 news of the day!

Varun Dhawan may not have been launched by dad David Dhawan but went on to do two massive hits with him- Main Tera Hero and Judwaa 2. And reports confirm the father-son duo are reuniting for their third film. The same reports also suggest that they are planning to revive the No.1 series that Dhawan Sr. popularized in the 90’s. A source says, “Impressed with Varun’s performance in one of his upcoming films, David wanted to collaborate with his son again for an out-and-out comedy for which he has already begun pre-production and frequent meetings with technicians. However, this one isn’t a remake like Judwaa 2 but an original script that will revive David’s No 1 series.”

Given how Varun has seamlessly molded himself into the genre of slapstick and over-the-top comedies by trying to imitate Salman Khan and Govinda, who have worked very closely with his father in the past, he’s the best choice to revive the series with David Dhawan. Let’s see whether the duo is able to score a hat-trick with their collaboration or not!
