“I have been trying to avoid him” – Sanjay Dutt on Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir Kapoor is all set to step into Sanjay Dutt’s shoes for Rajkumar Hirani’s next. But it seems like things are not going to be easy for him as Sanjay Dutt is avoiding the actor.

Sanjay revealed, “Meri life kaafi interesting hogi ki Raju Hirani saab jaise director ko pasand aayi. Ranbir is playing me, aur unki haalat kafi kaharab hai. Unka mujhe roz phone aata hai. (My life should be pretty interesting given that someone like Raju Hirani liked it so much. Ranbir is playing me and he is in quite a state. He calls me every day.) He wants to spend days and weeks with me, but I can’t spend more than half an hour with anybody. I have been trying to avoid him, it is a difficult role for him to play. He is a fine actor though.” Looks like Sanjay Dutt is annoyed by Ranbir’s frequent calls and doesn’t want to spend time to help him get the character right.

Sanjay Dutt will be returning to the big screen after almost three years with Omung Kumar’s Bhoomi, which is up for an August 4, 2017 release. While Ranbir will be seen with ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif in ‘Jagga Jasoos’ soon.
