Toilet: Ek Prem Katha hits a century at the box office!
When you have Akshay Kumar in a film, you know that it’s going to be an entertainer with a social message attached to it. His recent outing, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha was no different!
The film, which intends to spread the message of PM Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Mission, has managed to walk into the 100 crore club after eight days since its release.
With these figures, Akshay has already surpassed Shah Rukh Khan’s Jab Harry Met Sejal (well, no wonder!) and is inching towards the numbers that Salman Khan’s Tubelight posted at the end of its box office run.(Well, we have no doubt that it will surpass Salman too, considering that the film was a dud!)
Also, with TEPK making it to the 100 crore club, Akshay Kumar now has 8 films which have made 100 crores or more at the ticket counters.
