The Akshay Kumar-starrer Kanchana remake to also star Kiara Advani and R Madhavan!

The Akshay Kumar-starrer Kanchana remake is much ever awaited since it was announced after a lot of delays. Well, according to the latest development, the makers have roped in Kiara Advani and R Madhavan for the movie. Interestingly, both Advani and Madhavan have done projects down South.

A source close to the film was quoted saying to a leading daily that, “The makers were keen on casting Kiara Advani opposite Akshay Kumar. The actress has already liked the script and is on board. Madhavan too has given his nod for the horror comedy.” The details about their role are yet to be revealed.

Coming back to Kiara, the MS Dhoni actress was last seen in the web series Lust Stories and will be next seen in Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh and Good News, starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar and Diljit Dosanjh. Meanwhile, this will be Madhavan’s Bollywood venture after Saala Khadoos in 2016. The actor is currently busy with the Tamil movie Rocketry- The Nambi Effect, which will also be dubbed in Hindi.
