These star kids will make their debut in Karan Johar’s ‘Sairat’

Since the time Karan Johar has bought remake rights to the Marathi blockbuster film, Sairat, there are stories suggesting the actors playing the lead pair in the film. Our Khabri Keeda tells us that the remake of Nagraj Manjule’s ‘Sairat’ will pair Shahid Kapoor’s half-brother, Ishaan Khattar and Sridevi-Boney Kapoor’s daughter, Jhanvi Kapoor. Apparently, the script is being modified to suit the Hindi audience and Karan is yet to finalise the director of the film. When Ishaan’s mother, Neelima Azeem was asked about the film, she said, “It would be wrong to talk about his debut. The makers have their plans of making an announcement. Ishaan has his entire career in front of him.”

Previously, there were rumours that Ishaan might be making his Bollywood debut opposite Sara Khan (Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter) in the remake of ‘Fault in Our Stars’.
