Sonakshi rejects Arjun starrer ‘Mubaraka’

There have been speculations that Sonakshi did not want to star in ‘Mubaraka’ due to her ex, Arjun Kapoor, who will be playing the lead. The actress has decided to speak up and clear the air about the same. Sonakshi and Arjun began dating each other in 2014 while they were shooting for their movie ‘Tevar’, but parted after the film’s failure.

“I don’t think it’s right to speak about the film that I was offered and I am not doing. It was a matter between me and the producer. It was a professional decision to not to do the film and nothing else, people have a habit of cooking up stuff. But I don’t think I need to clarify things to anyone”, Sonakshi said in an interview.

Parineeti Chopra, Diana Penty and Athiya Shetty are rumoured to play leads now, but the makers are yet to finalise the leading lady.
