SLB asked to change the title of Padmavati
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati is facing major issues!
The entire nation is talking about what happened with Sanjay Leela Bhansali on the sets of Padmavati in Jaipur. The buzz now is that the members of Karni Sena have asked the director to change the title of the film. Bhansali Productions had even issued an official statement regarding the same in which they had stated that there is no dream sequence or any objectionable scene between Alauddin Khilji and Rani Padmavati.
The official statement reads, “We have been carefully researching and making the film. In spite of this, the attack on the shoot and crew was uncalled for and was extremely damaging to the image of the beautiful city of Jaipur. We are grateful to the authorities at Jaipur who responded promptly and limited the damage on shoot. We are confident that Mewar will be proud of the film made on their revered queen. We do not want to hurt any sentiments and would appreciate if the local people support us in making this film and making their queen revered by the world.”
Although Bhansali hasn’t said anything yet, the star cast of the film as well as a major chunk of the Bollywood industry has sent him support.
