Simmba: When Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty chatted for 4 HOURS!

Since the announcement of Rohit Shetty’s first-ever collaboration with Ranveer Singh for a full-fledged film, titled Simmba, we have been simply wanting to know more about the upcoming film which will bring back the two fireball artists after the famous Ranveer Ching campaign.

And now, reportedly, the makers of the film have LOCKED in the final script of the film, of which Singh and Shetty had a 4-hour-long narration of at the directors’ office.

A source close to the affair stated, “Simmba is going to be a mad, fun, full on entertaining ride. Rohit called Ranveer for a narration at his office and they had a ball jamming on the script. The director loves Ranveer as an actor and his infectious energy will be perfect for Simmba. Rohit has been very vocal in calling Ranveer the young generation‘s superstar in all his interviews and Ranveer looks up to Rohit’s sensibility of getting the pulse of Indian audiences through his cinema.”

It is said that the film will go on floors in the coming months after Singh is done with Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy.

The source in question concluded it all by saying, “Ranveer is a huge fan of Rohit and Simmba for him is a dream come true as he has always wanted to be part of a Rohit Shetty film. Ranveer feels no one gets commercial cinema like Rohit and he wants to give him everything for Simmba. He wants to impress his favourite director and be called a Rohit Shetty film ‘hero’. They are a house on fire together and they spent about 4 hours together during the narration. Ranveer is raring to start shooting for his favourite director and will begin filming as soon as he wraps Gully Boy.”
