Simmba first look: Ranveer Singh shows off his quirky avatar

Ever since Rohit Shetty announced that he will be working with Ranveer Singh in is next the audience have been eagerly waiting to catch the details about the film. Now the makers of the film have finally released the first look of the film and we must say it promises to be a sure shot entertainer.

The film is titled as Simmba and is produced by Karan Johar under his production banner Dharma Productions. The poster shows Ranveer Singh wearing glares, a ganjee, and a chain, portraying that he will be a Jhakaas cop- Sangram Bhalerao. The film will hit the screen on December 28, 2018.

Simmba is an official remake of Jr NTR’s South film – Temper. Ranveer will be seen playing a corrupt cop who changes his ways after falling in love with a beautiful yet simple girl. The female lead of the film is yet to be announced.

This will be the first time when Ranveer Singh will be seen playing a police officer on screen. With Ranveer’s outstanding portrayal as Allaudin Khilji, in Padmavati, it will be interesting to see how much justice will he do to the role.
