Has the Sidharth-Alia SPLIT caused Sadak 2 to be SHELVED?!

Although we are not quite sure about Alia Bhatt’s supposedly growing closeness with her Bhramastra co-star, Ranbir Kapoor, B-Town is buzzing with the news that she and her rumoured beau, Sidharth Malhotra have called it QUITS and if reports are to be believed, this has led to Sadak 2 and Aashiqui 3, the two films which were supposedly supposed to star the lovey-dovey duo, being shelved for the time being.

It was being said that Aashiqui 3 will not kick off until and unless Sadak 2, which was also supposed to see Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt reprise their roles from the original, is completed, but now it looks like Aashiqui 3 director Mohit Suri of Half Girlfriend (de)fame will not get the chance to direct them.

Why do we think so?

Reportedly, at a recent event, Mahesh Bhatt was questioned about Sadak 2, BUT, interestingly, the filmmaker who is always vocal about things and never shies away from answering any question, conveniently ignored this one and walked off.

This surely raises a question about the film’s future.
