“Shroffs, the only friends I have”- Disha Patani
Given the volatile relationships in the entertainment industry, it doesn’t come as a surprise that Disha Patani doesn’t have many friends in Tinsel Town. Talking about the same at a recent media interaction for the promotions of her upcoming film, Baaghi 2, Disha said, “I have no friends in Bollywood, except the Shroffs. The entire family is very helpful, Tiger is no exception. I am happy to have them as my friends.”
Disha Patani is usually known for her reserved nature but was refreshingly candid when it came to answering questions about her alleged relationship with Tiger Shroff and we really admire her candour. Talking about him, the actress said, “Tiger and I have a platonic relationship. It is social media that creates news about us. Whenever we visit a restaurant or watch a film together, they put up such news.”
Although she did win praise for her brief role in Neeraj Pandey’s M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, she’s yet to establish her mettle as an actor. When asked about how she handles criticism, Disha stated, “I have yet to prove myself. Even if I were to hear criticism about my performances, I would try to evolve and work on my weaknesses. Uncalled criticism hurts. But I am a positive person and will learn.”
Even though some so-called intellects might discard Baaghi 2 as nonsensical and brainless, it’s surely expected to open like a hurricane at the ticket windows on the 30th of March. With the kind of buzz the film has, it may end Tiger Shroff’s dry spell at the movies and also establish Disha Patani as a star.
