Shraddha Kapoor emotional message on 5 years of Aashiqui 2
Although, Shraddha Kapoor made her debut with the 2010, Teen Patti, and also starred in the 2011, Luv Ka The End, she rose to stardom in 2013, with Mohit Suri’s musical blockbuster, Aashiqui 2. Her character, Aarohi Keshav Shirke, who aspires to be a singer, was filled with warmth, piquancy, innocence and selflessness. Thanks to the melody of Tum Hi Ho, both Aashiqui 2 and Shraddha Kapoor became overnight sensations.
Fun Fact: Aashiqui 2 was supposed to release on the 17th of May, 2013, but owning to the blazing popularity of the music, the makers, Vishesh Films, released the film three weeks in advance, on the 26th of April. It opened at around 6 crore and went on to make over 78 crore at the domestic box-office. But beyond the commercial success of the film, Shraddha Kapoor made some unforgettable memories while working on Aashiqui 2.
