Shraddha Kapoor down with dengue, Saina shoot comes to a halt!

Shraddha Kapoor, who kick-started the shoot of the Saina Nehwal biopic after months and months of training, has unfortunately been diagnosed with dengue. This has resulted in the film’s shoot coming to a halt. The first look of the actor also splashed on the Internet and fans really appreciated the same. But it seems she’s not going to be able to shoot for a while owing to her current medical condition.

A source stated, “Shraddha started feeling unwell a few days into the schedule. She stopped shooting on September 27 after a checkup revealed that she has dengue. She is expected to return to the film’s set in a couple of days.” Owing to the situation, director Amol Gupte has decided to shoot the remaining portions of the film with the supporting cast and the child actor who plays the young Saina Nehwal.

The film is expected to release in the second half of 2019!
