Swara Bhasker, irrespective of incessant trolling and criticism, is a fearless voice that always stands up when required and needed. After commenting on the climax of Padmaavat and the ban on Veere Di Wedding in Pakistan, both which irked quite a few people on social media, she has raised her voice against something that is likely to find her immense support, and not trolls. She has opened up on her horrific and scary experience of something that has unfortunately become very rampant today- The Casting Couch.

In one of her interviews recently, this is what she narrated, “When I got out this guy actually tried to kiss my ear and said ‘I love you baby’ and I kind of did that. So, he got a mouthful of my hair so I was just like… so that kind of stuff happens. It’s all a part of casting couch, right?”

And this anonymous man claimed to be a major film producer! It seems a majority of the film producers have started taking a woman’s vulnerability for granted. They automatically assume a struggling actress will easily succumb to their sexual advances and satiate their carnal appetites. Sadly, they are wrong! Hope more women like Swara fearlessly come out in the open and expose the dark and disturbing side of the so-called glamour world.
