WHAT! Shah Rukh Khan received his first role after an INJURY

Shah Rukh Khan the king of Bollywood has received a lot of fame in his career. And as he says in Om Shanthi Om “Agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaaho to puri kayanat usey tumse milane ki koshish mein lag jaati hai” he has even proved the same in real life.

King Khan has made it huge in Bollywood, but not many know before coming to Mumbai he was a part of Barry John’s troop TAG (Theater Action Group). What is interesting is how he landed up getting a role in the play.

Shah Rukh Khan revealed the whole incident when he appeared to host Farooque Sheikh, in his show ‘Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai’. He started the story by saying “This is the first time I’m saying in front of Barry and he hates me for saying it because he thinks I’m a very bad actor. So, I say whatever I know of acting I know from him, I’m his mistake.”

He further added “I was a sportsman and I injured myself and I was really sad and down, I didn’t know what to do in the evenings. There was a play going on and Barry was looking for 10 boys to act with 82 girls in Lady Shri Ram College, that was not the reason I wanted to join but it helped. So I went there I auditioned for it and as strange it may sound Barry cast me so now you know kitni galti karte hai. He cast me as a principal dancer and he gave me one dialogue to say”
