Shah Rukh Khan REACTS to the Ram Rahim Verdict

The environment in certain places of India, be it social or political, has become really unstable all thanks to the rape verdict that has been passed on the self-styled godman Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Insan. Interestingly, NONE from the Hindi film industry have spoken about the current turn of events, but something very unlikely and Non-SRK like has happened.

A source close to the unit of Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming show Ted Talks India: Nayi Soch has revealed that when the news of the verdict got to the ears of Shah Rukh Khan while he was shooting, he instantly took to the mic and said, “The director will perhaps not like it as it is not a part of the show but I am happy to say Ram Rahim Singh has been sentenced.”

Adding to this, the source said, “The channel is not likely to air what SRK said about the self-styled Godman who produced MSG: The Messenger.”

Well, we can totally understand why the channel is most likely go down that route since we live in times where anything that a celebrity says can shape up into a controversy and go way out of hand!

On the work front, Khan is juggling between the yet-to-be-titled Aanand L Rai film and the Indian version of Ted Talks.
