Sarkar 3 adds a disclaimer to its trailer, courtesy CBFC!

Ram Gopal Varma’s next, Sarkar 3, has a big star cast which includes Amitabh Bachchan, Rohini Hattangadi, Jackie Shroff, Manoj Bajpayee, Ronit Roy, Bharat Dabholkar, Yami Gautam and Amit Sadh.

Now the trailer of the film is in the news as the CBFC has asked Gopal Verma to add a disclaimer at the beginning of the trailer. The reason being, the CBFC felt that the dialogues and the scenario of the trailer had a resemblance to the Thackeray family. This is not the first time that Sarkar’s plot-line has been compared to the Thackeray family. Amitabh’s character has always been in scrutiny for being compared to Bal Thackeray.

When ‘Sarkar Raj’ released, the Thackeray family had asked for a special screening of the film but were denied. A source close to the film had said, “There was no screening for the Thackerays. Only the Bachchan family and friends have seen the film before release. In fact, Abhishek wanted to be the first one to see the film after the first copy was out.”

We’re sure it’s better for the makers of the film to add a disclaimer than to get into trouble!
