SANJU: Sonam Kapoor Ahuja’s scene leaves people in splits

While the audience just witnessed Sonam Kapoor Ahuja’s real life wedding and Veere Di Wedding, Sanju trailer showcased a rather hilarious wedding scene between Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam.

The trailer captures a very funny moment of Sanjay Dutt’s life, revolving around his love interest.

It is a known fact that Sanjay Dutt was a drug addict and would spend majority of his time intoxicated by drugs. During one such time, Sonam, who plays one of the ladies in his life, barged into the washroom asking for her Mangalsutra.

Too high to be in his senses, Ranbir aka Sanjay Dutt puts the toilet seat around Sonam’s neck instead of a Mangalsutra.

It is ironic that the scene came to light just days before the release of Sonam’s Veere Di Wedding.

Though the scene is dark, the portrayal of Sonam and Ranbir’s situation is immensely funny.

With Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Rajkumar Hirani is all set to give the audience glimpses into the crazy, controversial love life of Sanjay Dutt in the 80s.

The trailer of Sanju has been receiving tremendous appreciation owing to the gripping story-line along with Ranbir Kapoor’s realistic performance. The audience and critics couldn’t stop raving about the striking resemblance of the actor to Sanjay Dutt.
