SANJU: Complaint filed against Ranbir’s film for this bizzare reason
Ranbir Kapoor’s film, Sanju, has been in the news ever since the trailer dropped on the Internet. First, it was reported that Madhuri Dixit’s portions were removed from the trailer as she didn’t want the ghosts of her past to haunt her again! Then the news that the film might land into trouble with the Censor Board owing to two scenes, one involving a completely naked Dutt and the other where Ranbir places a toilet seat on Sonam Kapoor Ahuja.
Now, fresh troubles have surfaced for the biopic. A complaint has been filed against the makers over the toilet leakage scene in the trailer. The complaint has been filed by an activist, Prithvi Mhaske, and is addressed to the chairman of the Central Board Of Film Certification, Prasoon Joshi. This is what it states, “In the trailer of the movie, we have seen a scene that Sanjay Dutt was in such a barrack of a jail in which the toilet overflowed. As per the information available, the government and jail authorities are taking a very well care of all the barracks of the jails. We never heard any such incidents anywhere. Earlier as well many movies were released based on the gangsters where in the jails were covered but never had seen such incidents. This particular scene will make a bad impression about the jails and jails authorities of the Indians. If there is no action about the same by you then we are left with no option to approach honorable court to put stay on the release of the movie.”
The makers are yet to comment on the issue! Sanju is slated for a June 29 release.
