Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati faces a fire
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s maiden project ‘Padmavati’ has been in a mess since the time Karni Sena destroyed the sets of the film, the equipment and hit the director. And now, with this latest news, it seems like the entire film has been jinxed.
An official reported that a group of unknown people torched the set of Padmavati and turned it into ashes. He said, “The set is spread across nearly 50,000 square feet and a group of unidentified persons set it on fire around 1 a.m.”
A large team of police from Panhala and other police stations reached the film site. No arrests have been made so far. This is the second time Padmavati has faced a backlash from a certain group for the filming of the project.
The film is scheduled for a November release, but we wonder if the dates will be pushed due to the continuous harassment being faced by the entire Padmavati team.
