Sanjay Dutt, Ranbir Kapoor & Vaani Kapoor to begin the shoot of Shamshera from tomorrow!

Sanjay Dutt, Ranbir Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor, who will be seen together in YRF’s next biggie, Shamshera, will kick-start the shoot of this period drama from tomorrow. The production house had organized a Pooja at their office that was attended by Ranbir, Vaani and the film’s director, Karan Malhotra. Dutt, however, couldn’t be a part of it due to prior commitments. Earlier this year, we saw the motion poster of the film which saw Ranbir in a rustic, robust avatar who plays the role of a bandit.

Talking about the film, Malhotra said, “It was amazing to have Shamshera’s cast and crew under one roof before we dive into shooting our film. All of us are excited to start this journey.” What’s also exciting is to see Ranbir going all against Sanjay Dutt, who plays the antagonist, after having played the man in his biopic, Sanju, earlier this year. All set to release on July 31, 2020, this is one film YRF should highly concentrate on, especially after the humongous disappointment that Thugs Of Hindostan was.
