Sanjay Dutt comes back to the box office on September 22
Sanjay Dutt has two really good things going on for him. One is his own comeback film Bhoomi which is being helmed by Omung Kumar and has Aditi Rao Hydari playing Sanju Baba’s daughter. And the other one is a full-fledged feature film on his own life where Ranbir Kapoor is portraying him, and from what images have surfaced, he seems to be playing the part quite convincingly.
One of his films, Bhoomi, which will mark Sanju baba’s return to the big screen has been finalized to be released on September 22! Check out the Instagram post below:
The movie was going to clash earlier with Aamir Khan’s Secret Superstar. But, being the good friend that Sanjay Dutt is to Aamir Khan, he decided to push the date from the original August release date.
Director Omung Kumar had to say “Sanjay has given his best performance till date and I am glad that we are increasing the anticipation for the audiences.”
Producer Bhushan Kumar said “We are extremely happy to have our film finally release on the 22nd of September this year. Sanjay & our entire team found it an apt decision to shift the release date by a month as this would give us enough time to promote the film.”
The co-producer Sandeep Singh stated “Sanjay insisted that he did not want his comeback film to clash with anyone else. He believes that given the kind of hard work that goes into making a film, it can’t boil down to unhealthy competition at the box office.”
