Sanjay Dutt wants his biopic trailer to be out in May

A lot has been said about the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanjay Dutt biopic. There will be no doubt in saying that it is one of the most awaited films of this year as the Sanjay Dutt fans are eagerly waiting to see his life journey on the big screen.

The untitled biopic will hit the screens on June 29 and now the reports suggest Sanjay Dutt wants the trailer of the film to be out on the 8th of May. Well, there is a special reason for the trailer of the film to be out on this specific day.

Apparently, Sanjay Dutt’s first film Rocky released on 8th May and hence that day is very special to him. Apart from this, the day is also very close to his heart as he lost his mother five days prior to the film’s release.

Well, we just hope Rajkumar Hirani fulfills this small wish of Sanjay Dutt. The name of the film has also not been finalized yet. Names like Dutt, Baba, Sanju have come up but nothing has been finalized yet.

Starring an ensemble cast of Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, and Vicky Kaushal.

Presented by Fox Star, the untitled Dutt biopic is directed by Rajkumar Hirani, produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani and is slated to release on 29th June 2018.
