Sanjay Dutt and Bobby Deol to star in a film together?
Sanjay Dutt and Bobby Deol, who briefly shared screen space in the 2005 Tango Charlie, may come together again but this time in full-fledged roles. The duo is reportedly collaborating for a period gangster drama tentatively titled The Rise And Fall Of Bombai, that will trace the era between 1930 and 1990 of the city. It’ll portray the rise of the underworld and how it dominated the city.
The film is likely to be directed by Adnan Shaikh and produced by Shaira Khan, Arjun N Kapoor and Prerna Arora. No confirmation regarding the news has been made yet but the idea and the subject sound fascinating indeed. And given you have Dutt as one of your protagonists, who’s portrayal of a gangster or even the sufferer comes with effortless ease and fluidity, you can expect a thrilling cinematic experience.
On the work-front, Bobby Deol is gearing up for Housefull 4, India’s first comedy in 3D which opens in the cinemas next Diwali. Meanwhile, Dutt will be seen in films like Kalank, Torbaaz, Prassthanam, Panipat, Sadak 2 and Shamshera.
