Salman’s Kick 2 to go on floors in 2018!
Salman Khan’s 2014 blockbuster hit is ready to hit theatres a second time around. The first installment of the Sajid Nadiadwala production had won hearts world-over. Not only because of Salman Khan‘s Kickass acting and action sequences, but also because of its brilliant script.
A source close to the producer mentioned, “He has finished writing 80 per cent of Kick 2. He has sounded Salman Khan out about the script and the actor loves it. They’ve decided to work on the film from the middle of 2018.”
“Kick 2 would’ve happened in 2017 itself. But this year Salman is busy with Kabir Khan’s Tubelight and Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tiger Zinda Hai. Sajid has three releases lined up in 2017. First, there’s Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon, followed by Sabbir Khan’s Baaghi 2 and Judwaa 2. So, they’ve decided to work together in 2018.” added the source.
Both the producer and the lead actor have packed schedules for 2017 and hence have decided to move the shooting dates to mid-2018. The source also informed us that Salman Khan’s character will be the same as the first part of the film while all the supporting characters will be changed. Which means a whole new star cast!
We can’t wait to see the Bhai of Bollywood break the box-office once again with Kick 2!
