Salman turns brother Sohail into a wrestler!
After Salman Khan played the role of a professional wrestler in Sultan, it’s now time for his brother Sohail Khan to follow suit. However, Sohail will not be wrestling anybody on the 70mm but will be taking on his ring opponents on the small screen, in a show which will mark Salman Khan’s debut as a TV producer.
The show will be based on the life of Gama Pehelwan, who is deemed to be the greatest wrestler in the world.
Ghulam Mohammed, also known by his ring name Gama Pehelwan or The Great Gama was born to an ethnic Kashmiri family in Amritsar on May 22nd, 1878. He was undefeated over the past 52 years. Post the partition in 1947, he moved to Pakistan where he breathed his last in Lahore at the age of 82 on 23rd May 1960.
If the reports are to be believed, the pilot episode has already been shot and the casting is on for further episodes.
As of now, Sohail Khan will be seen in Kabir Khan’s directorial Tubelight this Eid.
