Salman Khan’s TV show on Mumbai cops gets more EXCITING!
It was announced a few days ago that Salman Khan will be producing a TV show that narrates the lives of the Mumbai Cops. Now, sources have confirmed that Mahesh Limaye, the man who made the critically acclaimed Marathi film, Yellow, will be directing the television serial and Sridhar Raghavan, who wrote the scripts of films like Bluffmaster and Khakee, has penned the script. As far as the lead cast is concerned, it is being reported that Mukul Dev and Pooja Gor would star in the serial.
Known for historic cop characters like Wanted, where he played an undercover cop, Dabangg and Dabangg 2, where he took the character of a police officer to a whole new level with his antics and misdemeanors, it’ll be very exciting to see what Salman Khan has to offer to his fans and viewers with his new TV Show. Will it be in the same entertaining space as his Dabangg films or as gritty and serious as his Garv: Pride and Honour? We’ll find out soon.
Work-wise, Salman Khan is booked for the next two years, with one film lined-up after the other. After wrapping up Race 3, which is releasing on the 15th of June, 2018, the star will start working on Bharat, scheduled for Eid 2019 release. After completing Bharat, he has Kick 2, which was confirmed by Sajid Nadiadwala for a Christmas 2019 release. As far as Dabangg 3 is concerned, some reports suggested the film may be out sooner than expected, by 25th of January, 2019. Let’s see what happens as the actor’s Blackbuck case’s next hearing is on the 7th of May and anything can happen.
