Salman Khan welcomes Katrina Kaif to his Bharat family in a VERY unique way!
For about at least 72 hours now, rumor and speculation mills have been abuzz as ever since Priyanka Chopra’s exit from team Bharat, people had been wondering as to who will step into the shoes of the leading lady of the upcoming Salman Khan-starrer. Many names came up, but only one would have finally made it to the final cut of the period film. And now, we have finally learned who that name will be.
Earlier this morning, director Ali Abbas Zafar shared the news of Katrina Kaif being the leading lady opposite Salman Khan in Bharat. Shortly after which, Salman Khan himself did Kat’s Swag Se Swagat through his social media handles.

Confirming that Bharat will, in fact, see the reunion of the Tiger Zinda Hai trio, Khan also posted the following:
The duo is all set to recreate the magic after the blockbuster hit of Tiger Zinda Hai and audience are high on anticipation to watch the much-loved pair all over again
Bharat also marks to be the third outing for the trio Ali Abbas Zafar, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif.
The film that went on floors earlier this month has already begun the first schedule including a grand circus sequence featuring Salman Khan and Disha Patani.
Bharat’s release also brings back Salman Khan and director Ali Abbas Zafar for an Eid release after the 2016 Blockbuster Hit, Sultan. The hit director-actor duo will be marking a hattrick with Bharat after their last outing Tiger Zinda Hai.
Salman Khan will yet again treat the audience on the festive season of Eid next year with the release of Bharat.
The film will feature Salman Khan sporting five different looks spanning 60 years, wherein a crucial part will showcase the actor in his late 20s, looking much leaner and younger. Salman Khan will be recreating his ‘Karan-Arjun’ look which has created immense excitement amongst the audience.
The film is set to have a character-driven story spanning across many periods. Bharat will be shot in exotic locations such as Malta and Abu Dhabi alongside Punjab and Delhi in India.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, ‘Bharat’ is produced by Atul Agnihotri’s Reel Life Production Pvt. Ltd and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series releasing Eid 2019.
