Salman Khan wants to launch a theatre chain for the underprivileged

Salman Khan has always been in the news for his movies, television shows, comments and has always been open to helping anyone who is facing a hard time in life.

Salman Khan started his charitable organization, Being Human for that purpose so he could help people.

2 years back Salman Khan had a dream project called “Salman Talkies”. That would be a chain of theatres, where movie tickets will cost lesser compared to the other theatre chains. The tickets would be tax-free. Also, children from underprivileged backgrounds will get the tickets free of cost.

In an interview with a leading newspaper, Salman mentioned “I had a lot of plans for the theatre chain but it’s taking me longer because I need to be very careful. There are a lot of logistical details involved so that the project doesn’t shut down.”

He also mentioned that the theatres will not be around popular areas of Mumbai such as Juhu, Bandra but it would be on the outskirts of Mumbai.

Salman Khan also recently also entered the distributor space. He will be distributing Race 3 and the upcoming movie Loveratri which will see the debut of his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma.
