Salman Khan to pay a tribute to Raj Kapoor in Bharat
We all remember how Salman Khan paid a tribute to the legendary actor Raj Kapoor in his films, Patthar Ke Phool (in the song Tumse Jo Dekhte Hi Pyar Hua) and Ready (in the song Character Dheela). Now, if reports are to be believed, the superstar is all set to pay a tribute to the late actor in his upcoming period drama, Bharat.
According to sources, director Ali Abbas Zafar will create a circus set for the film which will be inspired by Raj Kapoor’s iconic film, Mera Naam Joker. To portray this particular sequence with finesse and perfection, Salman is likely to seek advice from the legendary star, Dharmendra, who played a pivotal role in that aforementioned classic.
And as we reported a few days ago, Disha Patani also came on board and would be playing the role of a trapeze artist. Will this circus sequence feature her as well? It seems so! All set for an EID 2019 release, Bharat also stars Priyanka Chopra, Tabu and Sunil Grover.
On the work-front, Salman Khan is all set for the release of Race 3 on the 15th of June, 2018, after which he’ll gear up to star in films like Dabangg 3 and Kick 2.
