Salman Khan OUT, Arjun Kapoor IN for No Entry sequel?
Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor made us laugh till our stomachs ached in the 2005 blockbuster comedy, No Entry, directed by Anees Bazmee. There have been multiple talks about the sequel since forever. Anil even stated in an interview that the Dabangg star has given his dates for the second part. The title was also announced- No Entry Mein Entry and Bazmee stated all the three leads- Anil, Salman and Fardeen Khan, would be seen in double roles.
However, due to the busy schedules of everyone involved, the film was put on hold and it unfortunately still continues to hang in the balance. But it seems the director really wants to announce it now as it has already been over 13 years since the first film came out. But the sad news is that Salman may not be a part of the sequel this time. Reports suggest that after the success of Mubarakan, Anees wants to reunite the Chacha-Bhatija Jodi of Anil Kapoor and Arun Kapoor.
A source said, “The movie is currently in the scripting stage. But the story is such that it requires a new cast. Though several names are being discussed, Boney is keen that Arjun leads the pack. Given the success of ‘Mubarakan’, Boney feels director Anees Bazmee and Arjun make a strong team.”
Talking about Salman, Bazmee said, “Salman is a fantastic actor, he is a star. If he is part of the film then it is really very good, but if he doesn’t want to do it then we will have to think of another actor with all plus and minus points and accordingly work towards it (story). Whenever Salman is part of a film it does benefit (the film).”
With Arjun’s chances of joining in, will the No Entry sequel ever be the same?
