Salman Khan next will be a remake of a Korean Film!

So, it’s official! Salman Khan is all set to be in a film which is going to be produced under Atul Agnihotri‘s banner. Atul is Salman Khan’s brother-in-law.

Turns out that the movie is a remake of Korean blockbuster, Ode To My Father. CJ Entertainment, the Korean production house under which the original film was made has sold the official remake rights to Atul Agnihotri. As per the reports, the film will be set in the India-Pakistan partition era.

 “Some stories fill you with a sense of purpose. Ode To My Father is one such story and a fine example of Korean cinema. The Hindi version will only borrow the essence of the Korean film. We are happy with the association with CJ Entertainment and look forward to associating with them on many such projects in the future.” confirms Atul.

Abbas Zafar will be directing the film. He has previously worked with Salman Khan on Sultan and is also directing Tiger Zinda Hai.
