Salman Khan makes his Marathi singing debut
Salman records his first Marathi song within 45 mins!
Salman Khan has proved why he’s one of the most talented actors in Bollywood yet again! The star surprised us with his singing skills when he sang Main Hoon Hero Tera and Hangover and has now ventured out to sing a Marathi song.
Earlier this year, reports of Salman making his Marathi singing debut for Mahesh Manjrekar’s upcoming movie titled FU-Friendship Unlimited made rounds on every news portal. Salman has finally sung the song and slayed it like a boss.
The song is a modern day remake of hit song Pancchi Banu Udati Phiru and is called Gaachi. It is sung by Salman Khan and Vishal Mishra. It has been composed by Sameer Saptiskar and penned down by Sachin Pathak.
Singer Vishal Mishra confirmed this news saying “Salman fell in love with the song and the way it was recreated. I had the privilege to record it in his voice and he rendered it so well that it gave an all-new dimension to the song. It has now turned out to be the highlight of the film”
Being the professional superstar that he is, Salman recorded the song within 45 mins!
When asked if the song will be auto-tuned, Vishal replied, “Auto-tune is used in almost all songs these days because it enhances pitch accuracy. I have composed 16 songs for FU and used auto-tuner in each of them. In Salman’s case, we used it to enhance the edge. Had another singer sung it, I would have used the technology even then. But Salman was the best choice for it”
Salman had to re-record the song due to some pronunciation errors that were pointed out by Mahesh Manrekar after the first recording. Salman readily agreed and recorded it again.
Salman’s rumoured girlfriend Iulia Vantur has also sung a Hindi song for FU and has impressed everyone.
We’ve always admired Salman’s voice and can’t wait to add this new number to our playlist!
