Saif Ali Khan’s Kaalakaandi’s Release POSTPONED!
Seems like Saif Ali Khan is going through a rough phase. First the epic failure of Rangoon and then he got kicked out of Race 3. The only good thing that his fans were excited about was his upcoming film Kaalakaandi, but things don’t seem to be right even for this film as the release date of the film has been postponed.
Earlier the film was slated to release on September 8th, but the makers are now postponing the release date of the film as the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has suggested some cuts for the film.
A statement from the team was announced, “It has been decided to postpone the release (of Kaalakaandi) to be able to have sufficient time to complete the censor process as CBFC has suggested cuts. A new date shall be announced shortly.”
The cuts for the film were suggested by the ex CBFC chief Pahlaj Nihalani. Now as the CBFC is headed by Prasoon Joshi the team will now submit the movie for re-evaluation.
Kaalakaandi is based on the lives of six urban characters with different backgrounds.The movie is produced by Cinestaan Film Company and Ashi Dua Sara of Flying Unicorn.
The film also features Deepak Dobriyal, Vijay Raz, Kunal Roy Kapoor, Sobhita Dhulipala, Akshay Oberoi, Isha Talwar, Shenaz Treasury, Shivam Patil, Amyra Dastur and Neil Bhoopalam.
