Saaho: Prabhas is ALL praises for Shraddha Kapoor!

Since the film Baahubali opened in 2015 to a thunderous response, Prabhas, along with the master storyteller SS Rajamouli, single-handedly rewrote the definition of the Alpha Male Indian film hero. That definition became all the more acceptable when the Baahubali 2 hurricane hit Bollywood earlier this year.

Enough about the past. Now, let’s fast-forward to the present, where the Tollywood sensation is busy shooting the mega trilingual, Saaho along with Shraddha Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh and many other known names from Bollywood.

Now, with respect to that, Prabhas shared some details on the “Haseena Parkar” actor by saying, “I have never worked with a Bollywood actor before and she is the best choice for the role. We are very lucky to have her on board. Her character is not just like coming and going or just there for the songs. The character is very important and adds a lot of weight to the story. It is one of the most important characters in the film. She has some amazing action sequences also. It is a very strong character,”

Speaking about the kind of work ethic and the dedication Bollywood’s Half Girlfriend has put in for Saaho, he said, “Shraddha is a very hard-working actor and she is very comfortable (on the sets). Most of the actresses I have worked with have started their career in South and then shifted to Bollywood. Shraddha is already a Bollywood star, but she is very dedicated,”

Wondering what the road ahead is like for the team of the trilingual? Prabhas answers that question by saying, “The team has till now shot for almost 40-45 days. We will start shooting for the major action sequences soon. We are planning to release the film next year. But we will be able to finalise the exact date depending on the progress of the film,”

Well, judging by the first look(s) of Saaho, the film looks quite promising, although it is kind of giving us a Blade Runner 2049 feels.
