RTI against Salman Khan’s jail visitors stalled

An activist filed a RTI (Right to Information) claiming to know the details of the people who paid a visit to Salman Khan in the Jodhpur jail. However, his RTI has been stalled as the jail authorities first want to seek the actor’s permission before disclosing the names. This hasn’t gone down well with him, though.

The same activist successfully received all the details of the visitors of politicians like Yeddyurappa, Jayalalithaa and Sasikala, but hasn’t been able to know the names of Salman’s visitors. Now, he has written a letter to the IGP and DG of Rajasthan and threatened to file a complaint with the Information Commission if his RTI isn’t responded to. The Jail SP has written to Salman for his approval before divulging the details to the activist.

Currently out on bail in the Black Buck Case of 1998, Salman Khan is currently busy with films like Bharat, Dabanng 3, Sher Khan and Kick 2.
