Rohit Shetty SPEAKS UP on his next with Shah Rukh Khan!

The power-packed actor-director duo of Rohit Shetty and Shah Rukh Khan has previously delivered a blockbuster in the form of Chennai Express. Rohit Shetty’s out-of-the-box thinking along with Shah Rukh Khan’s contagious charisma took the film to great heights of success.

Given their track record with their previous film, fans have been waiting for the two to join forces one more time and deliver a yet another masala potboiler.

If one would remember, the Golmaal Again director had been toying around with the idea of remaking a classic comedy film, Angoor for the longest time and has been sitting on the rights for the longest time.

When asked about whether Shah Rukh Khan will be a part of this remake, he said,  “I already have the rights of Angoor. I don’t know when will I get to make it.” When he was further asked about SRK’s involvement in the remake, he added, “If you give SRK (a film like) Angoor, he will make it into a watermelon! It’s a very sweet story. But when we try to make a simple film bigger, its essence and sweetness diminish and it goes into another zone. I can go to a hill station, and make a film like Angoor in two months and come back. But I’m still wondering if I want to make a film on that scale or not.”

Well, we agree with Shetty on that one. But, it would be great to see our superstar in a small budget film for a change.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is super-busy in shooting his next film with Aanand L Rai while on the other hand, Shetty is enjoying the success of Golmaal Again and is probably waiting for Ranveer Singh’s Simmba to go on floors.
